About game

A project by second-year master's students at ITMO GameDev, implemented using a proprietary game engine. Play pool against your sworn enemy to reclaim your honor and your hut!

Warning! This project is just the prototype (all bugs and problems are possible!) And make sure that your OS and GPU support DirectX 12!

Main features

• Play the real 8-pool! Use all main rules of original game trying to beat the opponent
• Control your hit force and side! Use the mouse to control the force of the hit and to correct the side you are shooting
• The real physics! The simulation of balls and hits is based on powerful inner physics system including smart collisions generation
• Play against AI! Don't let him win this game!
• The game is developed on own proprietary engine as the part of student project!

Control

First person mode:

• WASD - movement
• Mouse movement - looking around
• E - activate the ball-shooting mode

Ball-shooting mode (aiming):

• Mouse movement - aiming the side to shoot
• Mouse wheel - correction of camera distance from ball
• Left mouse button (Hold) - preparing the hit
• E - exit the ball-shooting mode
  

Ball-shooting mode (hit):

• Mouse movement (up-down) - correction of hit force
• Mouse movement (left-right) - correction of hit side
  
• Left mouse button (Release) - complete the hit
